Audition for 2023/24 company - 8th September, 5 - 7.30pm @ Brighton Girls Dance Studio

PENNY & JULES YOUTH DANCE (PJYD) launched at the end of 2014. We work with young dancers (Year 7+) from schools and colleges around the South East and audition every September. We rehearse on Friday evenings at Brighton Girls (formerly Brighton & Hove High School), where we're delighted to be artists in residence.

 

Dancers in our youth company have gone on to train at some of the best conservatoires, including Rambert, London Contemporary Dance School, Laban and Northern School of Contemporary Dance.

Throughout the year, we work with dancers to strengthen their physical and technical capabilities, alongside their creative and performance skills. Past performances include Brighton Fringe, Regional U.Dance Finals, National U.Dance Festival (2015 and 2017) and HOSTED at The Old Market.​
